Hello,
I am Elif Su Demirkol, an Interior Designer and Creative Director based in Istanbul. Since beginning my professional career in 2021, I have worked on architectural projects of various typologies and scales. In 2023, I began designing products for one of my own brands, Foreign377. My work also includes brand visual design and UX research.

I began my professional career in 2021, while I was still completing my architectural studies. The experience I gained through internships at various architectural offices and in my university’s Design & Build studio paved the way for me to step into the industry early, starting as a Junior Interior Designer before graduation. In this role, I worked within an investment company on projects of varying scales, typologies, and concepts, ranging from retail spaces to hospitality and took an active role in several projects based in the Cappadocia region.
After two years, I joined a creative agency where my practice expanded beyond architecture. As a creative director, I became involved in shaping brand identity, visual language, and the overall creative output, overseeing both the design process and the final deliverables.
Following this period, I continued my work as a freelancer and eventually founded my own brand, FOREIGN377. Under this name, I focus on both product and spatial design while also dedicating significant time to research, material experimentation, and exploratory design processes. Alongside my independent practice, I continue to collaborate with various architectural offices on a project basis.
Digital production is also an important part of my work. One of my pieces was selected for an NFT exhibition organized to raise funds for a children’s charity, allowing me to contribute to a socially impactful initiative through my creative practice.
My design process is supported by a broad technical foundation and fluency in a variety of software tools. Most recently, my products were selected for exhibition at Dubai Design Week, marking a significant step in expanding the international visibility of my work.
